The Hearing and Speech Center of WNY has a new state-of-the-art office in the brand new Wehrle Professional Center in the Town of Lancaster.  The new office provides speech language therapy, occupational and physical therapy, social work, and special education services for children who may have developmental delays and/or other sensory concerns.  Hearing Evaluation Services of Buffalo, Inc. (HES) shares this office and will offer specialized hearing testing and hearing aid fitting for infants and children of all ages as well as continue providing exceptional services for adult patients.  This partnership brings together experienced clinicians in a new multi-disciplinary evaluation and treatment team to provide comprehensive services for children from birth throughout their educational years.

This new office is part of a larger pediatric medical campus that includes the Williamsville Pediatric Center.  Adding the expertise of HES and the Hearing and Speech Center of WNY to this new facility allows parents to access a full range of comprehensive health care services for their children in one convenient location.

About Hearing and Speech Center of WNY and Hearing Evaluation Services

The Hearing and Speech Center of WNY employs over 50 NYS licensed Speech Language Pathologists who provide therapy services throughout WNY.  The Hearing and Speech Center will capitalize on over 13 years of experience to bring together a multi-disciplinary team which includes Speech Language Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, Special Education Teachers, Audiologists, and Psychologists who will provide comprehensive evaluations and treatment for all children.  Treatment programs are designed to meet the individual needs of each child.  These services may be provided through the Early Intervention Program, Committee of Preschool Special Education, or our clinical program. 

Hearing Evaluation Services is a not-for-profit organization that is staffed with nine NY State licensed Doctors of Audiology who have been providing exceptional service to the hearing impaired for over 28 years.  HES offers a range of services including diagnostic hearing testing, balance testing, hearing aid fitting and follow-up, custom swim and musician earmolds, and industrial hearing testing.  Audiologists at HES are active in both the professional and academic arenas and have presented research at national and international conferences, published research, written and edited text books and taught audiology classes at the University at Buffalo.
